About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated HVAC Controls Technician to join our Tampa-based team. If you thrive on solving complex building automation challenges and enjoy working with cutting-edge systems like Tridium and Distech, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

You won’t just install and program controls—you’ll play a key role in optimizing building environments for comfort, efficiency, and sustainability. From new builds to retrofits, your expertise will directly impact how people experience the spaces they live and work in.

What You'll Do:

• Install, wire, and commission HVAC control systems (with a focus on Tridium Niagara and Distech platforms)
• Program and configure controllers, user interfaces, and integration protocols
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-time, both remotely and on-site
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and building owners to deliver smart, efficient solutions
• Maintain and update building automation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and other team members

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara and/or Distech Controls
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical fundamentals, and networking basics
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for tech and innovation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Bonus Points For:

• Niagara 4 certification
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and other common protocols
• Familiarity with energy management practices
