Job description:

Lead complex automation projects from conception to completion while developing the next generation of instrumentation engineers in a collaborative Cleveland environment.

Join a Cleveland-based systems integrator delivering automation projects across process industries. As Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you'll own instrumentation scope from design through commissioning, while guiding a small team of engineers/designers.

Your work will include:

• Defining and procuring instruments (flow, level, temperature, pressure, analytical)
• Creating P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and detail drawings
• Generating instrument lists, I/O lists, specifications, and O&M documentation
• Reviewing vendor submittals and calibration data
• Supporting FAT/SAT, commissioning, and start-up
• Acting as technical interface with customers
• Reviewing and checking work of junior engineers/designers

What you bring:

• Hands-on experience specifying and calibrating process instrumentation
• Strong background with P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument schematics
• Ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers
• Comfortable interfacing with customers on technical scope
