HVAC Controls/ Building Automation Project Manager

Overview
An established organization is seeking a Project Manager to deliver Building Automation (BAS/BMS) projects, including system installations, upgrades, and integrations. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery of HVAC controls and smart building solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of BAS/BMS projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget
• Coordinate engineering, installation, and commissioning activities
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Track schedules, milestones, and project performance
• Support system integration (HVAC controls, energy management, lighting, access control)
• Oversee procurement and ensure timely availability of controls hardware
• Monitor project costs, support billing, and maintain financial alignment
• Manage project documentation (RFIs, submittals, as-builts, commissioning records)
• Identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate when required
• Support commissioning, system validation, and project handover

Requirements

• HVAC Controls or Industrial Automation background, Technicians/Engineers encouraged to apply
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, or similar
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and control strategies
• Familiarity with protocols/platforms such as BACnet, Modbus, ALC WEBctrl preffered
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
