About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Building Automation Specialist to join a high-performing facilities and engineering team supporting a large, complex site in Chicago. This Building Automation Specialist role offers the opportunity to work on advanced BAS platforms, optimise building performance, and play a key role in maintaining critical environments.

What You'll Do
* Program, modify, and optimise building automation systems for HVAC and related equipment
* Troubleshoot BAS issues and ensure systems operate at peak performance
* Support commissioning, retro-commissioning, and system upgrades
* Implement energy optimisation and efficiency improvements
* Maintain system backups, databases, and documentation
* Collaborate with engineering teams and onsite stakeholders
* Provide technical guidance on complex controls and integration challenges

What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Building Automation Specialist or in BAS/controls environments
* Hands-on experience with Siemens Desigo and Siemens Insight
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and control strategies
* Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based networks
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in a hands-on, onsite environment
