Our client, a high-growth building automation integration company, is expanding rapidly across data center and industrial automation projects and is looking for a Building Automation Technician to support commissioning, troubleshooting and delivery of advanced HVAC and controls systems across live projects.

This isn't a maintenance-only position.

You'll be involved in start-up, commissioning, diagnostics and optimization of critical building systems - working directly on projects where performance, reliability and precision matter every day.

What you will do

• Perform start-up, testing and commissioning of HVAC and building automation systems
• Carry out point-to-point verification and system diagnostics
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls issues within BAS environments
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Load, update and commission controller software and system graphics
• Work directly with customers on-site, explaining system performance and solutions
• Complete commissioning documentation, punch lists and as-built updates
• Support system upgrades, retrofits and optimization projects

This is a hands-on technical role combining field engineering, commissioning and customer interaction.

What you will need

• Experience working with building automation or electronic control systems
• HVAC controls, BAS or low-voltage systems experience
• Strong troubleshooting capability across electrical and mechanical systems
• Understanding of networking, integration or controller programming preferred
• Associate degree or technical training in electronics, HVAC, mechanical systems or similar (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work independently on active project sites
• Strong communication skills with customers and project teams

Experience supporting critical HVAC or mission-critical environments is a strong advantage.
