A well-established building automation and smart building technology provider is looking for a Controls Systems Engineer / BAS Programmer to join their growing engineering team in Chicago. This is a great opportunity for someone with HVAC controls or building automation experience who enjoys working with modern building technology, developing control strategies, and supporting the commissioning of advanced building systems.

The Role
* Design and program HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS)
* Develop control sequences, flow diagrams, and system documentation
* Configure controllers and assist with system commissioning and startup
* Support installation teams with troubleshooting and system optimization
* Prepare technical drawings, equipment schedules, and project submittals
* Update as-built documentation and system manuals
* Provide basic system training and support to end users

What We're Looking For
* Experience working with HVAC controls or Building Automation Systems (BAS)
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or control systems
* Comfortable using engineering software or technical drafting tools
* Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and field technicians

Preferred
* Experience installing, programming, or commissioning building automation or HVAC control systems
