About the Opportunity:

We’re seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Building Automation Technician to join our growing team in Orlando. If you're passionate about bringing buildings to life through advanced automation and controls—and you know your way around platforms like Tridium Niagara, Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or Siemens—you’ll thrive in this role.

You’ll work hands-on in the field, integrating sophisticated control systems that make commercial spaces more efficient, comfortable, and intelligent. From high-tech healthcare facilities to energy-efficient office complexes, you’ll help power the systems behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Install, commission, and service HVAC control systems across a variety of platforms (including Tridium, Distech, Honeywell, Johnson, and Siemens)
• Program DDC controllers and interface with various protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
• Integrate equipment and systems for seamless building automation
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs—on-site and remotely
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Conduct system testing and tuning to ensure peak performance
• Provide clear documentation and end-user training as needed

What You Bring to the Team:

• 3+ years of field experience in HVAC controls and automation systems
• Proficiency with at least two or more major BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara 4, Distech EC-Net, Honeywell WEBs, Johnson Metasys, Siemens Desigo/Talon)
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical plans
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, low-voltage wiring, and network communications
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to solve problems independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean record

Nice-to-Have Certifications:

• Niagara 4 Certification
• Distech Controls Certification
• Honeywell WEBs Certification
• OSHA 10 or 30
• IT networking or cybersecurity training a plus
