Automation Engineer

We are looking for an HMI Developer with a strong focus on WinCC to join our automation team in Pittsburgh, PA. You’ll collaborate with controls and project engineers to design intuitive, visually engaging HMI systems for advanced industrial automation applications in the metals industry. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop HMI/SCADA systems, primarily using WinCC
- Build clear, operator-friendly screen layouts and graphical elements
- Interface with PLCs and industrial data sources
- Participate in simulation testing and validation
- Assist with site commissioning and provide support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of HMI/SCADA development experience (WinCC preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., C++, VBA) is a plus
- Willingness to travel within NAFTA region
