Are you an experienced Building Automation Installer looking to take the next step into a leadership role?
A well-established building automation systems integrator is seeking a Lead Building Automation Installer to oversee field installation activities across a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, working hands-on in the field, and delivering high-quality BAS installations from project start through completion.

The Role
* Lead and mentor a team of Building Automation installers on active construction projects
* Install Building Automation Systems (BAS), including controllers, panels, sensors, actuators, and associated low-voltage wiring
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings
* Coordinate daily installation activities and provide technical guidance to field teams
* Ensure installations are completed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
* Support commissioning activities through point-to-point verification and system testing
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and customers throughout project delivery
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on-site
* Complete installation documentation and support project handover activities

About You
* Proven experience installing Building Automation Systems on commercial construction projects
* Previous experience leading or supervising installation teams
* Strong understanding of low-voltage controls wiring and field device installation
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
* Experience installing BAS from the ground up rather than replacing pre-configured equipment
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
Preferred
* Journeyman Electrician licence or equivalent trade qualification
* Experience with Alerton Building Automation Systems
* Experience with other major Building Automation platforms
* Previous experience working across commercial, healthcare, education, or institutional facilities
