Role Overview
I am seeking a proactive and skilled Junior Project Manager to join the team in Central Manhattan, supporting ongoing retrofit and service projects at a high-profile cultural institution.

The Junior Project Manager will assist in the day-to-day execution of building automation projects, working closely with the senior Project Manager to ensure successful delivery across scheduling, financial tracking, design review, and on-site coordination. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience who is ready to take the next step toward full project management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing retrofit and service projects at a landmark Manhattan site.
• Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Generate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and project documentation.
• Support design and material reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure high-quality installations.
• Provide clear communication between field teams, design staff, and project management.
• Uphold company standards for safety, performance, and client satisfaction.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in building automation, controls, or related project coordination.
• Working knowledge of BACnet protocols (required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio (required).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara systems (preferred).
