Controls Engineer - Contract (6 Months)

$55-$65 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for a 6-month contract role at an automotive manufacturing facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is 100% on-site with no travel required.
Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and support Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Perform electrical design, hardware design, and controls programming
• Support a variety of automation projects, including:
• Bespoke turnkey automation systems
• Integrating new code into existing control architectures
• Repairing, modifying, and upgrading legacy equipment
• Work hands-on with production equipment in a fast-paced automotive/engine manufacturing environment

Required Experience

• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming
• Prior experience in:
• Automotive manufacturing and/or
• A Ford plant and/or
• Engine manufacturing facilities
• Ability to handle full-scope controls responsibilities (design through commissioning)
• Comfortable working independently on-site

Work Location & Per Diem

• 100% on-site at the Cleveland, OH facility
• No travel required
• For non-local candidates, Ohio state per diem applies:
• $159/day lodging
• $80/day meals
