MES Engineer

Job Title: Rockwell MES Plex Engineer (Contract)

Location: On-site – Greenville, North Carolina

Contract Type: 1099 / W2 Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: Through December 31, 2025

Pay Rate: $60 - $65 per hour (W2/1099)

Position Summary:

We are partnering with a leading third-party systems integrator to bring on a skilled Rockwell MES Plex Engineer for a high-impact, on-site engagement in Greenville, NC through the end of the year. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Plex MES, including MBR (Master Batch Record) design, machine/equipment integration, and post-implementation support. This is a hands-on role supporting system deployment, validation, and Hyper Care in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation and configuration of Rockwell Plex MES on the manufacturing floor
• Design and develop Master Batch Records (MBR) in alignment with production and compliance requirements
• Perform design verification and validation (V&V) to ensure system accuracy and compliance
• Integrate MES with shop floor machines and equipment for real-time data capture and process control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, and IT) to ensure system alignment with plant workflows
• Provide post-implementation (Hyper Care) support including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system tuning
• Develop user documentation and assist with knowledge transfer to internal staff
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and manufacturing goals

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Rockwell Plex MES
• Strong experience with MBR design and configuration
• Knowledge of design verification and validation (V&V) processes
• Experience in machine/equipment integration with MES platforms
• Ability to provide Hyper Care and post-deployment support
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and MES/ERP integrations
• Self-starter with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• On-site availability in Greenville, NC through December 2025 is required
