Role Overview
I am seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing New York team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex Tridium Niagara projects and serves as a bridge between the design/software department and project management.
The position involves overseeing design, programming, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems, with a clear growth path into a Junior Project Management role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute projects from design to commissioning of Tridium Niagara control systems.
• Collaborate closely with the design/software team and Project Manager to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Assist in design review, material allocation, and subcontractor coordination.
• Provide technical support for field technicians throughout installation and commissioning.
• Lead the startup and commissioning process for assigned projects.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and performance standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience programming Tridium Niagara systems from scratch (required).
• Solid general knowledge of control systems and HVAC applications.
• Proficiency with BACnet communication protocols (required).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently.
• Ambition to grow into a Junior Project Management role.
