Our client is looking to add a Control Systems Engineer to their expanding team. They are a global leader in advanced manufacturing technologies, focused on delivering solutions that improve the performance and reliability of critical components across the automotive, aerospace, industrial, and energy sectors.

Responsibilities:

    •    Design and modify machine control solutions, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems.

    •    Develop electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, panel layouts, and bills of material.

    •    Program and troubleshoot automation controls: PLCs, HMIs, and associated systems.

    •    Participate in specifications, drawing reviews, electrical build, factory run-off, and field commissioning.

    •    Collaborate directly with customers to support machinery installation and after-sales needs.

Minimum Requirements:

    •    Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI architectures, including RS Logix and operator interface programming.

    •    Familiarity with precision industrial automation machinery: hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    •    Skilled in generating electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD.

    •    Experience in electrical distribution, motor controls, VFDs, servo controls, pneumatic/hydraulic circuits, and automation controls.

    •    Willingness and ability to travel, primarily within North America (between 10-15% of the time).

Education and Experience

    •    Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in industrial machine building, field service, and team supervision.

    •    Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related discipline—or equivalent technical degree and experience.

    •    Experience with an equipment manufacturer in electrical/controls engineering is advantageous.
