Controls Engineer (PCS 7) – Contract-to-Hire

Location: Chicago, IL

Contract Length: 6 Months (with paid expenses) to Permanent

Start: 2 weeks after offer acceptance

We’re hiring a Controls Engineer with Siemens PCS 7 experience for a 6-month contract in Chicago, transitioning to a permanent role. All travel & accommodation are covered during the contract period, with relocation assistance provided upon going permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and commission control systems using Siemens PCS 7
• Support FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning
• Collaborate with project teams and ensure system documentation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of PCS 7 experience
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial protocols (PROFIBUS/PROFINET)
• Experience in process industries (e.g., water, chemical, food)
• Willing to travel and work on-site during contract phase
