PE Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer – Pittsburgh, PA

Salary: Up to $140,000

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support engineering design and project leadership for complex systems, with a focus on medium voltage power designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop specifications, calculations, and models for complex electrical systems.
• Lead medium voltage power design projects and ensure code compliance (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.).
• Review and approve vendor documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Conduct site and vendor visits for assessments and inspections.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and technical resources.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Serve as Engineer in Responsible Charge as assigned, meeting all PE sealing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred); ABET-accredited program preferred.
• PE license required. Licenses from Florida or Ohio will be considered. Candidates sitting for the PE exam within 6 months are also eligible.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in medium voltage power design is required.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, CARS, and electrical standards preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Field and multi-discipline project experience is a plus.
