Project Engineer – Parsippany, NJ

Salary: $110,000

We’re looking for a hands-on Project Engineer to join our team in Parsippany, NJ—someone who’s passionate about engineering both on and off the clock. If you enjoy digging into hobby projects after work and thrive solving real-world technical challenges, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do:

• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
• Work with and understand VFD drives, motor controls, and instrumentation.
• Perform electrical design and layout for control systems.
• Support commissioning activities and troubleshoot systems when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in PLC programming, VFDs, electrical design, and commissioning.
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges from design to execution.
• Passionate about engineering—with a personal interest in tinkering, hobby projects, or DIY automation.
• Strong communicator with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
